Starting out on 28th September 1997, Layla the Vampire Slayer is set at St. Thom Huell boarding school Little Rosewater, an apparently-quiet town in a non-descript part of England. However, the arrival of American transfer student Layla Smith quickly shakes things up as she is the Slayer: a prodigy meant to stand against the forces of darkness.
